Since they are in reality powerful computers, it is difficult to convey Rocky Mountain Instrument's product features in published advertising, including our web pages. For those of you that would like complete information, the following manuals in Adobe PDF format may be viewed online or downloaded and printed to get a complete picture of the capabilities of the microEncoder and microMonitor.

For those of you who are interested in the RS232 standard serial output (airdata) formats of the microEncoder, you will find detailed information in one of the appendices of the microEncoder Programming Manual.

For those of you who are interested in the RS232 serial output format of the microMonitor, both with and without the microEncoder input, you will find detailed information in one of the appendices of the microMonitor Programming manual.

Note that until version 6.00 of the microMonitor, there was no programming manual… all programming details were contained in the operations manual.

The version 500 installation manual covers many prior years as there have been few changes in the installation of the microMonitor.  The two operations manuals in addition to the current version have one portion that is different, Programming Extra Features – function #6 (PEF).  The version 500 manual software has codes for function #6 from 0 to 31.  The version 401 manual PEF has codes from 0 to 15, but will suffice for earlier software versions that have 0 to 7 by dropping the last column in the selection table.
